The F605 is an XMC or alternatively PMC extension card for MEN's Intel® low power family.
The XMC slot supports either one PCI Express® link with 4 lanes on one connector or 1 link with one lane on each of the two connectors .
The PMC slot can be used for 32/64 bit and 33/66 MHz PMC cards and supports up to 133 MHz PCI-X.
The board detects automatically whether an XMC or a PMC is plugged.

• 1 XMC slot (PCIe® 1 x4 link or 2 x1 links)
• or 1 PMC slot (32/64 bits, 33/66/133MHz, PCI-X)

This extension card for MEN's Intel® based product family offers dual Gigabit Ethernet.
Equipped with rugged Lemo connectors the F606 makes Gigabit Ethernet connectivity available for applications in railways and other harsh and mobile environments. An individually configurable UART is accessible via D-Sub connector.

MEN's Intel® based board family consists of 100%-compatible SBCs, which can be equipped with processors ranging from a low power Celeron® M from 1GHz onwards via different Pentium® M up to the latest Core Duo and Core 2 Duo processors up to 2.2GHz.
The connectors remain the same on all boards of that family and several flexible extension cards for additional I/O options can also be used in combination with all these SBCs.
This scalability enables an increased long-term availability from 5 years to 15 years or more.
